Position Description: You will serve as System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator responsible for performing all aspects of SCCM environment including planning and design of upgrades to the environment and/or migrations, new sites, distribution points, software catalog, patching of MS products and third-party vendors, WSUS, management of endpoints over the internet, reporting services, USMT, etc.


  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Software Center current branch specific issues to both client and back end
  • 3rd level troubleshooting support for software deployment and SCCM related issues
  • 3rd level support for miscellaneous PC client and OS troubleshooting
  • Monthly security patch deployment across the environment
  • Monitor software deployments
  • Regular SCCM client maintenance
  • Develop new and maintain existing in-house tools to optimize client troubleshooting and reporting
  • Work on special projects as needed

Daily Tasks Performed

  • Integrate new hardware files into SCCM
  • 3rd level SCCM client troubleshooting support
  • Monitor health of distribution points as well as SCCM clients for both physical and virtual machines
  • Create and deploy scripts for hot fixes as needed
  • Create customized and highly detailed SCCM reports
  • Manage Microsoft updates deployments throughout the enterprise
  • Provide hardware and software recommendation
  • Create, deploy and monitor OSD Task consequences and all required OSD components
  • Manage File Share permissions for team resources
  • Maintain custom WinPE encryption recovery media and provide 3rd level support


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Strong Microsoft administration and infrastructure skills
  • Ability to solve problems and automate repetitive tasks in common scripting or programming language such as: VB, PowerShell, C++, AutoIT, VbScript
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Microsoft OS expertise
  • Good communication skills and team oriented personality
  • Strong Microsoft administration and infrastructure skills
  • Ability to solve problems and automate repetitive tasks in common
