Position Description: We are looking for an Agile BA/BSA who has 5 years of Business Systems Analyst experience in the retail domain (specifically digital eCommerce retail experience). You will be responsible for monitoring system integrity within and between each application (i.e. Customer Service Systems (CSS), POS, Web Sites, TCRM or any other loyalty system or eCommerce applications, etc.). You will prepare and submit requests from the business and users and coordinate implementations while partnering with users to identify system improvements that increase efficiencies and reduce redundancies.
Additional Responsibilities Include
Perform the analysis, design and implementation of new business systems, following IT standards
Participate as a project team member as assigned
Provide input for the feasibility of proposed projects
Assist in the development of the “wants and needs” list
Provide the functional systems design, including final report and screen definitions, logical system flow and implementation plans
Identify system impact of changes to the company, user and operating systems
Identify solution methods (i.e. development, query tool or business process)
Prepare the requirements definition including user process changes, flowcharts and preliminary report and screen definitions
Provide the functional specifications, including final report and screen definitions, updated logical system flow and implementation plans
Update documentation as required by changes to the enhanced systems
Participate in testing, user training and result evaluation
Oversee the complete implementation
Primary responsibility for the success of the IT deliverables
Provide production support as required
May provide work direction or training for support personnel
Facilitate production requests from user groups
Evaluate results on production systems requested from user groups or production support
Answer production questions from user groups
Analyze help desk development support tickets
Support programmer/analysts in business related issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to pay attention to details and work independently
Proven proficiency in multi-tasking and leadership skills
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
Ability to provide functional specifications from which a programmer may prepare a detailed technical specification
Microsoft Office, SQL, Visio, Business Objects or similar too.
Experience (state the level of experience necessary for position success)
5+ years experience as a Retail Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst
CRM experience is required
Experience in Retail industry is 100% required (specifically digital eCommerce retail system experience)
Oracle experience is an asset; Teradata a plus
