Position Description: We need a JavaScript Developer who will be responsible for designing and engineering web applications, mobile applications, and APIs. You must have proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. We are looking for a motivated, self-directed, team oriented developer with excellent verbal, written and documentation skills as you will be working closely with internal team members and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products, features, and/or updates as well as helping to define features and implementation specifications based on business requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience with Angular 2+ (Angular 4/5/6 experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years in total modern web and/or application development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with modern DevOps tools, such as Git, GitHub, and/or Jenkins
  • Experience and advanced skills in JavaScript development (ES6/ES2015, TypeScript) with experience in ReactJS or Ember as well as HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience in server-side development with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, etc., and experience in source code management with Git (or similar tools)
  • An understanding of software development concepts including Agile, Continuous integration and delivery, and automated testing
  • Experience with technical application design skills, interpreting functional requirements into technical designs for web applications
  • Experience with responsive design and grid frameworks for cross-browser compatibility such as Bootstrap or Foundation
  • Experience using TypeScript
  • Experience on mobile or web development teams
  • Knowledgeable of UI Design methods and testing
  • JavaScript UI frameworks
  • JavaScript linting via JSLint or JSHint
  • JavaScript unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Mocha + Chai or Karma, etc.)
  • JavaScript API development using NodeJS
  • Contribution to Open Source and a working GitHub account
  • Knowledgeable of accessibility guidelines (W3C)
  • Knowledgeable of the MEAN Stack and/or FULL Stack

Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience.
