Sugar is an upscale, cupcake bakery in Cincinnati, Ohio offering one-of-a-kind organic and vegan cupcakes. This business founded by 2 sisters opened its doors in 2009 and with immediate success, wanted to offer customers across the nation the opportunity to purchase their cupcakes online. In addition, Sugar was asked by the Food Network to star in its series, "Cupcake Wars" (airing June 13th and July 13th for their specific episodes) and wanted to be accessible for the demand following publicity from the show.
With its national debut on June 13, Sugar asked CWT to design a sophisticated, yet simple ecommerce solution to translate their modern brand and highlight the beauty of their cupcakes. As a very social brand, Sugar also wanted to integrate their Facebook page, Twitter and Foursquare to connect with friends, followers and loyal cupcake lovers everywhere.
In record time, CWT brought this brand to life online and since then, Sugar has been experiencing amazing traffic and an overflow of feedback and connections from people across the U.S.
