Quality Analyst (Six Sigma)

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Description:

Need for metrics and analysis of defects in PLS to better understand trends and areas of opportunities for improvement.

Quality Assurance Analyst to perform defect metrics and statistical analysis, as well as other SQA metrics reports. Should have adequate facilitation skills to drive improvements. QC and Six Sigma knowledge a plus. Will perform statistical analysis, drive quality improvements and measures, monitor and analyzes production quality trends within PLS. Assure process compliance, and will provides insight to App Owners & SQA Leaders on trends and quality indicators. Will perform monthly reporting.

Resource will be assigned to work on various Quality initiatives.
Resource will be expected to perform statistical analysis, drive quality improvements and measures, monitor and analyzes production quality trends within Personal Lines Solutions.  Working knowledge of Six Sigma is extremely desired.  Resource will also be expected to assure process compliance, and will provide insight to SQA Leaders on trends and quality indicators.  Resource will be expected to create and maintain weekly and monthly Business Operations reports. Resource must have strong knowledge acquisition skills and the ability to immediately put their experience into practice. A minimum expectation is the ability to design, develop, and implement statistical analysis metrics and reports (at least via Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Use of HP Quality Center is required.  For this role, resource must be able to incorporate Six Sigma strategies and Continuous Improvement DMAIC practices to improve effectiveness and efficiencies in the SQA organization.  This resource will not be expected to develop or test code but rather inspire the on-going improvement of our quality practices and facilitate Quality RCAs.
